When most of us see Winnie the Pooh eating honey we think that he is just a greedy little bear. But with the revelation of the health benefits of honey, but now the theory needs to be revaluated. Maybe that bear of “little brain” has a fantastically astute brain. All these years Pooh has been reaping the rewards of having a diet rich in antioxidants. Researchers discovered some years back that honey contains a lot of antioxidants.
According to the US National Library of Medicine:

Free radicals are molecules produced when your body breaks down food, or by environmental exposures like tobacco smoke and radiation. Free radicals can damage cells, and may play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases.
