A Touch of Pooh Help to Brighten Up a Neighborhood

October 19th, 2008

All across the country there a many neighborhoods left with vacant homes that sit untouched and uncared for. A young artist is among a group that has been going around painting windows on abandoned homes in Flint, Michigan. Among the characters to adorn these homes is Winnie the Pooh. The idea behind this project is to just bring some life and colors to neighborhoods that are have lost some its vitality because of the many vacant homes that line the streets. The city of Flint supports this project and hopefully it does brighten up the lives of the people still left in these neighborhoods.
